A quick trip to San Antonio

  Yesterday we drove 200 miles to Helotes to spend the night with Susan.  We had a great dinner and sat outside a chatted. 
   Scotty had a doctors appointment at 7AM, to check on how is nose is healed.  The doctor was very happy with the way it looks.  It was a short appointment since he didn't need to do anything more.  So we were headed back to Port Aransas by 7:45.
  This afternoon we drove to Rockport to visit with Jim & Linda who are staying there at the Beacon RV Resort.  Together we went to Goose Island State Park.  We drove the campground and think it would be a good place to stop if we come this way again.  We also went to see the Ancient Live Oak Tree there. 







   The day was sunny and the wildflowers were abundant.

    I've stayed at Goose Island many times and love it...a great place to ride trikes. I always stay in the trees after staying on the waterfront and waking to a storm that shook the trailer....we moved into the trees at 3 am. However, Pat stays on the water always and loves it. Have fun and be safe. Amy
